Finance Confirms Modernization Banking Sector

Finance Ministry dsiclosed that it finished preparations to hold banks conference for the first time in Iraq on January 28th, as it called to benefit from its recommendations to modernize banking industry in the country.
The Finance Minister Baqer Jabr said that the local banks would create workshops with foreign banks as well as participating of private sector to strengthen national economy and increase foreign investments in the country.
Jabr confirmed importance of merger among some banks to support its financial position through increasing governmental credits at these banks.

Ministerio de Hacienda dsiclosed que terminó los preparativos para celebrar conferencias bancos por primera vez en el Iraq el 28 de enero, como llamados a beneficiarse de sus recomendaciones para modernizar la industria bancaria en el país.
El ministro de Hacienda, Baqer Jabr dijo que los bancos locales a crear talleres con los bancos extranjeros, así como la participación del sector privado para fortalecer la economía nacional y aumentar las inversiones extranjeras en el país.
Jabr confirmó importancia de la fusión de algunos bancos para apoyar a su situación financiera mediante el aumento de los créditos gubernamentales en esos bancos.
